1. What is SPAS?

SPAS is the Strategic Agreements & Partnerships Unit at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS). It coordinates between university entities and external parties and reviews requests to establish local or international partnerships aligned with the university’s strategy.

2. Who can submit a partnership request?

All university entities (agencies, deanships, colleges, centers, administrations) and external organizations can request opportunities for local or international collaboration.

3. What types of partnerships are supported?

Research, Academic, Sports, Operational, and Others (as specified on the request form).

4. Is the service available 24/7? What are support hours?

You can submit partnership requests 24/7. Helpdesk support is available Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Saudi time).

5. How long does it take to process a request?

Internal and external partnership requests have a service execution time of 2–5 working days to initiate the process of establishing the partnership.

6. Where can I download the “Proposed Partnership Terms” template?

7. How are agreements governed and reviewed?

The unit assesses strategic alignment; evaluates agreement terms; oversees the request process; submits requests to the advisory committee; follows up on activation; and archives agreements.
